Matt Southards

Matt Southards was named Director, Digital Engagement for A. O. Smith’s North America Water Heating division in 2015. In this role, he is responsible for Digital Engagement strategy & execution, which includes B2B and B2C marketing activities as well as the digital component of iCOMM, the division’s Internet of Things (IoT) offering in the commercial water heater segment.

Prior to joining A. O. Smith in 2010, Matt worked in a variety of digital roles in the manufacturing, software, e-commerce and agency environments.

Matt holds an MBA from the University of Illinois, and has completed executive education coursework from Northwestern University.
